Default When pronouncing meem saakin...

Bismillaah,
Assalaamu'alaykum warahmatullaah.

I have some doubts in my mind about some tajweed issues.

When pronouncing the meem instead of a noon e.g. "mim ba'di" or "mim bayni", do you close your lips by letting your lips touch fully or do you not let your lips touch? Which is the most correct way as i have heard people reciting both ways?

Also, when pronouncing " 'aleemum bi dhaati sudoor", do you close your lips when pronouncing the meem saakin or not?

Wa'alaykum asslaam wa'rahmatullah akhi,

Close your lips on Meem (with Ghunnah) and then immediately separate upon Baa

Wa'Allahualam

NOTE; Just a correction... I'm talking about Noon Saakinah / Tanween rules as that's what I understood from your question.

I assume your talking about the Al-Qalb rule which applies to a Noon Saakinah or Tanween when followed by a Baa ?
