Default Qiraa'ah and Ahruf

Bismillahir Rahmaanir Raheem,

as-Salaaamu 'Alaykum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh,

I don't get something, I understand that the differences in the ahruf was because they came from the Prophet, sallaAllahu alayhi wa salam, i.e. it was revealed differently.

But the Qiraa'ah, how did those differences come from the Prophet, sallaAllahu alayhi wa salam?
